well I want it to look the way it came from Chevy. But mine were so scratched up and dull I don't know what they should look like. I don't want them to look odd next to the dash.

I used plasti-kote trim black on the trim on the 71

Dont forget about the primer ;) and some 280 wet or dry sandpaper

Yeah, I already got them primered and sanded. Just awaiting paint now.

I hung some hooks in the back porch with some chains and cut clothes hangers to hang them from.coffee.
