CLUB PURPOSE: The purpose of the Southeast CamaroZ is to promote and encourage charitable giving and philanthropy and to support various charitable and philanthropic organizations. Also to provide an outlet for Camaro enthusiasts to organize and associate with other Camaro enthusiasts and to act as an organization to share knowledge of and preserve the history of the Camaro motor vehicle.

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY:

MEMBERSHIP:
Open to anyone with an interest in Camaro’s and own a Camaro or will be attaining one.
Dues are $20.00 per year, payable at the time of joining and renewed each year.

BENEFITS:

Upon joining, you'll receive a Club T shirt, club decal, club by-laws and a membership card.
You'll be eligible to buy club items such as hats, jackets, shirts, pins, logos, etc as these become available..
You'll have access to other clubs newsletters and information about car shows, new products, and what's going on in the car world. MEETINGS:
You will be able to attend a north or south meeting.
Those times and places will be posted on the website.
Charter meetings will be added as the club grows.

ELECTION FOR CLUB OFFICERS:
Elections for club officer’s will be held every 2 years ,President, Vice President, Treasurer, Club Secretary, Event Coordinators, Charter Directors, and Sergeant at Arms
By-Laws Changes can be made up at any time of the year and amended quarterly.

SPECIAL COMMITTEES:
For special events, a committee may be formed and will have a chairperson with volunteers that will report to the club officer’s.
Year Awards
As voted on by the Officer’s of the club the following awards are given:

Outstanding member of the year
Appreciation award
Rookie of the Year
And other ‘Special Awards’ as deemed appropriate by the board.

PRESIDENT



Share responsibility of presiding over regular membership and officer meetings.
Provides meeting place.
Retains copies of monthly membership chairperson's reports.
Selects persons to be club Photographers.
Decides what members will maintain club items.
Decides what officers will maintain club items such as Club Library, Banners, Photo Albums, News Letters, etc...
Handles all club correspondence including receiving and distributing the mail.
Acts as the main contact for other persons trying to reach the club.
Appoints members to special committees/assignments as appropriate.
Appoints Club Newsletter Editor, Publisher, Printer and/or Webmaster.
Must own a Camaro.
If the President leaves the position, the Vice President will fill in until a replacement can be nominated by the Club, and voted in by the Membership anytime.
Appoints Start up Charter Director with the approval of the Vice President and Treasurer. VICE PRESIDENT

Share responsibility of presiding over regular membership and officer meetings.
Fills in at events if the President is not there.
Provides meeting place Northside.
Will fill in if the President if becomes vacant. Until a replacement can be nominated by the Club, and voted in by the Membership anytime.
Helps to Find/select start up Charter Director with the approval of the President and Treasurer.
Must own a CamaroTREASURER:

Handles all banking and bill paying for the club.
Maintains a set of books with financial records for membership to view.
Maintains a checking account with the President and Vice President as co-signer.
Receives dues and other payments to club and records their origin.
Will fill in if the Vice President becomes vacant. Until a replacement can be nominated by the Club, and voted in by the Membership anytime.
If the Treasurer leaves the position, a replacement can be nominated by the club, and voted in by the Membership anytime.SECRETARY

Secretary
Responsible for taking event Attendance.
If the Secretary leaves the position, a replacement can be nominated by the club, and voted in by the Membership anytime. And will finish out that term.
Responsible for sending out letters and special notices to membership, including 'good & welfare' correspondence, cards, flowers, etc..
In the newsletter. Takes accurate notes of meetings and club events for reporting to the membership and publication Event Coordinators ( 2 Positions)
Car Shows
Track days
Cruise-ins
When you want to put to on a club event confirm the details of the Location, place, time and sponsor’s.
MEMBERSHIP:

Membership
Registers all new members and mails out membership packets.
Keeps a current membership list and reports it to other officers.
Mails out membership renewal notices.
Greets new members and introduces them at club events.
Helps the Treasurer with dues and renewals
If the Membership Officer leaves the position, a replacement can be nominated by the Board, and voted in by the Membership anytime. .
