nice nice ... never seen that site before.
You Rockthanks
See I am trying to debate where to start upgrading my car.
For X-mas I get around $500.00 so I want to use it the best way I can.
Suggestions?
here is a break down of what I got in my car.
355 crate holly 650
K&N air filter
Getting a Jacobs ignition set up from my Uncle.
All new hoses on engine
Dash gadgets all work.
Pint is awesome
Weld rims
New gas tank, tank straps, fuel lines, and sender (buying this month)
things I would like that are cheap
front spoiler
split bumper
L88 hood
Steering wheel
New bucket seats (black)
Center console
As far as the engine goes I would like to beef it up just not sure what is the best way to start...
Should I get new headers ...rockers...cam...
Suspension needs some work.... was thinking hotchks stuff..It’s just cost so much! lol
Would like to get my car re-wired
I guess I just need a good place to start doing crap.
Give me some ideas on what you guys think

Yeah I know ... that is why I wanted sugestions on stuff i could do for under 500.00 to start off.
I would like to do the 12 bolt rear end 1st... but umm its 2,000.00.
so thats out.
then i was thinking about getting my L88 hood.
But tossed that plan because there is nothing wrong with my hood and i would rather get something to help the performance before i start changing the cosmetic stuff that looks good already.
I would really like to beef up the HP but not sure what is the best way to start
with out buying a new rear end or Engine...
Opened for sugestionsBoo HooBoo Hoo

Bottom line, the easiest way to get more perf out of it is gears and a posi. While the 12 bolt is nice, the 10 is more than strong enough to handle most anything a small block will do on the street. I roll 3.73's and an Auburn in my 10 bolt, been flogging it for 6 years with no problems. Compared to what it does now, a 3.73 gear change would make the most diff for the $. An electric fan, degreeing your distributor, underdrive pulleys, etc are little cheap ways to free up little power here and there also. Keep in mind that on a 2nd gen, a fiberglass hood will lighten it up ALOT, help weight transfer, and improve on the amount of throttle you can supply off the line which also makes it faster. I got Energy Suspension Polygraphite bushings on the front, they are awesum, and were only $90.

Thanks Kenny, I will do some pricing of all this stuff and get as much of it as i can with $500.00. The only thing about the hood is 1st i would have to pay about 450.00 for it ,and I would still have to get it painted =(
I think I will take the cheap performance 1st...;)

Club Bylaw Amendment #1 ;All items and services acquired in any one state chapter's borders entitles all of said state's chapter's members to have full access to services until, by a vote, will make any of said items and services availiable for outsoursing.
Dean is exempt from the law in this groundbreaking club decision for the bailout on rank issues that brought the need to have this added to the books.
