Awakened at 0420 hours by one of my dogs...goin after the bear again. Tried to call Rocky in, flipped on the front porch light, and saw the bears arse, as it was backing off the porch. Why didn't I sleep with the camera?? Was pretty close to it, about 4 ft, seperated by an insulated glass front door. Went out to smoke this morning and also have paw prints on the sliding glass door. The old timers round here say there's not much for them to eat this year, cause of the drought. Have seen bear a bunch of times in the 12 years I've lived here, but we usually go a couple to 3 weeks in between visits...this is the 2nd week in a row. Guess I'll load up the SKS, just in case it decides to come on in. Awseome to stand there and look at one one God's creatures...as long as it stays ouside...
