Hey guys, having cruise control problem on the Silverado (ok, it's a Chevy product!). Won't work. Tried the 10 amp red fuse, pulled, and swapped, and had them all tested. OK there. Then, I disconnected battery for several hours: I hoped that computer would re-set if that was issue. No luck.

Running out of simple ideas before I go to Dealer.

The small orange colored indicator light comes on at the steering wheel, but the icon does not show up on dash where it is suppose to come on.

Ideas, hints??

Got the autozone gun on it, and no codes. But as one of our esteemed members says, who needs cruise control. :D It is the truck, however, and I do some highway driving.

Try googling your specific car and issue online. I had a lean left and right bank code and most sites told me it was a blown intake gasket. Kept searching and found a guy that said the fuel filter was clogged. Changed the filter and problem solved. Maybe you can get lucky too.
