New car/ emission problem

Got a '95 LT1 6 speed with Lt4 hot cam plus several other mods electric cut out headers suspension mods. Owned by a Chevy mechanic. It has no cats and I live in Gwinnett so I am looking for any way to get a tag. Any ideas??

get cats or some dummy ones. lately it seems that no matter where you go in gwinnett co. if u dont have cats u wont pass. unless you got a buddy that does emissions inspections and will let ya slide....or just bribe them with some pocket money:D

even if he adds cats it may not pass inspection. depends on the tune air/fuel ratio. if its running rich he may have to lean it a little.
at least that is what i have read on other forums.

true, i was jus going on the assumption that the only thing he was worried about was the visual part of the inspection

Found muffler shop that will put on "dummy' cats and if it does not pass , guess I will put real ones on.

shud pass...im assuming since the guy you bought it from was a chevy mechanic he deleted the cats out of the tune so that the check eng. liht doesnt come on and they would show as working
