I now own a red 88 RS. It took me a little while to find it but I got it for good deal. It is a v6 though and it came with a cowl induction hood but it the car needs to be repainted. It gets me from point A to point B while I put the 383 in the black one!

What color you want Bobby? Get me enough rattle cans and I'll lay down the best paint job you could get. It'll beat out Earl Schieb's best.

That would be a perfect Camaro to attend way-off shows ( like here with the Ala Clan ). I know it sounds like I'm all about horsepower, but I have equal respect for a 6 car that's clean. Dependability is key, especially in the August heat sitting in traffic. I had to install 2 electric fans to keep mine happy in the heat. The idle changes about 150rpm when I hit the switch, but that's a price of trying to street too much motor. Driving fast enuf to keep the 3000 converter flashed in high gear is also a problem. I've killed 3rd and reverse in two transmissions due to overheating from below 3000 driving

Got it thru the stock 1st, then around to a 16000# gvwr cooler. Recently learned from an old pro streeter all that don't mean squat if you don't increase the line size between it all. He says a 3000 needs more flow velocity to live at 24-2600. Never thought of that b4. Always ask an old guy with a ratty thunderbird rolling 6.40's in the heat, they have alot of knowlege!

I would like to do the car in black but I think it might be too much of a pain in the butt. It would probably cost me about $1000 to paint the whole car, because it would have to be jammed out for it to look right. Besides I still need to get my black car finished! I would like a normal spoiler, the one thats on the car isnt the 3 piece one.

Ive never had a TRUE red car but I think it will look really nice once I get it painted. Then I'll have the best of both worlds, a black car and a red car, awsome!
