Huntsville Chapter Meet

6/13/09 - Huntsville Chapter Meet/Cafe 302

Today was the first official meet of the Huntsville Chapter of Southeast Camaroz. In attendance was:

Jeff (jeddy2000)
Ricky (Rick)
Dale & Deborah (Renegd98)

We had a lot of fun and met some other nice people. Not a lot of other Camaros there but did meet a few potential members that were interested. We talked about future events and car shows, definately looking in on another show at Title Max on South Parkway in Huntsville on the 27th. Also expressed interest in attending the Car Show in Ardmore TN on Aug 22nd. Dale expressed that he was definately interested in participating in more car shows, and I can't blame him, cause he has a NICE 1997 30th Anniversary Special Edition Z28 that he bought new that has only 19,000 miles on it!! Hey Hal! Love your Camaro!! It is beautiful!! I actually didn't get to meet you personally, I think you might have talked to Rick... I am glad you found my card and decided to look us up! Unfortunately I have to work that night on the 20th, otherwise I would love to go. Keep watching my posts to see where we will be next. Please let me know of any other "Camaro friendly" lol events that will be going on!!

I have to work this coming weekend, but we are looking into a car show being held at Title Max on South Parkway on the 27th..maybe you can join up with us then.. or if you know of anything on the 27th that you would like to attend....let me know!! Jeff, thanks for inviting me and starting the HSV club. I had a good time and met some nice folks and glad I joined the club. Thanks for accepting my application that evening.

Nice 69 Z/28 there Hal.... the exact opposite colors of my 30th Anniversary, the wife really loved. We have always been fond of the 69 Camaro's.

I plan to start trying to attend more shows/cruise-ins. I plan to clean the 30th up some more and make some info boards. Hope to see y'all at more shows.

Dale, enjoyed meeting you and Deborah!! I'm glad you had a good time and I am glad that you wanted to be a part of the club! Congratulations and welcome! I sent off your dues this morning so you should see your status change on the website to club member later this week. Like we talked about...let me know of any particular events that you are interested in. I have to work every other weekend, but some of those weekends I could attend an evening event..(this weekend is not the case though!!) I am still trying to get more information about that event at Title Max on south Parkway on the 27th... If you see any others that weekend that may be good for us to attend, let me know, cause I am off that weekend.
