I bought me a numbers matching 71 SS/RS Mulsanne Blue/ std blue. Its a great driver but needs a lil paint to be perfect. The interior was done a few years back. The question I have is was the dash blue or blk? Question #2 is how much will it hurt the value if I switch to the 70 low spoiler? Thanks for yalls help.

First pics are needed :cool: The dash could be either Black or blue. Take apic of the cowl tag . That should tell the tale.

I like the short spoiler better but I would keep the car correct. Leave the big one on.

the tr is 777 and paint is 26 . I don't have a photo bucket. I had yahoo until the closed it. I'll make a photo bucket real fast.

If you change to the short spoiler you will have to fill in the holes in the quarter panel. What color is the interior now?shiftin

This is from a guy that knows more about 2nd Gens than Scott Settlemeir. If you need to know anything just ask him. Keep the stock one because to a Camaro guy, having an incorrect spoiler is too obvious, which in turn gets them wondering if it's all a clone.

Did you know that alot of '74 models are being cloned into the '70-'73s? I've heard about 2 around here that was done that way, so serious buyers are looking more for signs of clones with 2nd gens now.

the code is 776 the 777 was a typo on my part late last night. shouldn't research when tired LOL. Its got the std blue interior. I got to pick up the protect o plate and all info on the car today including the window sticker. As for the spoiler... I was told the short spoiler was aslo offered on the 71. But more than likely I'll just keep the tall spoiler, But I really like the short 1. I'll probally just use the short spoiler on my 71 SS clone since it has the wrong end caps anyway. Thx yall

If the car was ordered wit th RPO D80 you lost the short spoiler.
